Lou Williams Steers Clippers Back To Winning Ways
6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams made his return from injury on Thursday, and he played a key role straightaway, scoring 13 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to help the team snap a four-game losing streak against Dallas. He shot 9-for-12 from the field, including 1-for-3 from downtown, while sinking seven of 10 freebies. Williams also had eight assists and two steals in the game. His handles were a bit rusty following a four-game absence as he finished with four turnovers. Sweet Lou has provided plenty of good scoring for the Clippers, but he's also moved the ball well this month, averaging 6.2 assists per game. He'll be up against the injury-ravaged Nuggets next on Saturday.
