Lou Trivino Shut Down
2 years agoNew York Yankees righty Lou Trivino (elbow) was in the middle of live batting practice when he experienced elbow discomfort and will be shut down for the time being, according to MLB.com. Manager Aaron Boone told reporters that he may need a second opinion. Trivino is trying to make his way back from a ligament strain in his right elbow that has kept him off the field for all of 2023. With this setback, fantasy managers shouldn't expect to see the 31-year-old for a while. The news doesn't have much of an effect on fantasy baseball, as Trivino wasn't going to factor into many save opportunities and pitched to a 4.53 ERA with a 1.64 WHIP in 2022.
