3 years agoChicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball authored his second double-double of the season by scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 boards during a 107-104 loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday. The 24-year-old shot 4-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-11 behind the arc. Ball also added six assists and a steal across 37 minutes. The UCLA product has been a solid addition to a good Bulls' team, averaging 12.3 points, 5.4 boards, 4.7 assists, 1.9 steals, and 3.0 triples per game while shooting 43.2% from three. Lonzo Ball To Miss Another Game
6 days agoChicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. As expected, Ball will miss this game after being listed as doubtful coming into it. Ball will miss his fourth game in a row due to a wrist sprain. The team hasn't given much of an update on his status, so it's unclear when he'll return to the court. Kevin Huerter and Tre Jones will continue seeing increased playing time in the rotation. Huerter is probably the safer fantasy option between the two, but Jones is coming off a 20-point outing on Thursday.

Lonzo Ball Doubtful For Saturday
7 days agoChicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) is considered doubtful ahead of Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. It seems likely that Ball is headed towards a fourth straight absence due to a right wrist sprain. It's not shocking to see the Bulls being extra cautious with the oft-injured guard. Another absence of Ball should mean increased playing time for Kevin Huerter and Tre Jones in the rotation. Jones is looking like the better streaming choice between the two after a 20-point outing during Thursday's game. However, both guards could be worth a look while Ball is out.

Lonzo Ball May Miss Third Consecutive Game
1 week agoChicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) remains questionable on the injury report and could be out for a third straight game on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. Ball has been sidelined with a right wrist sprain. With Josh Giddey (quadriceps) and Kevin Huerter (knee) also nursing injuries, Tre Jones, Dalen Terry, Jevon Carter, and Talen Horton-Tucker have taken on larger roles. Jones and Terry started the last contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Horton-Tucker led the second unit with 22 points. There could be additional opportunities again for Chicago's depth players on Thursday if the injury list doesn't clear up.
