Lonzo Ball Leads Lakers In Scoring On Tuesday
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball was the team's leading scorer in Tuesday's win over Chicago, scoring 19 points on 8-for-17 shooting. He notched 13 points in the second half and shot 3-for-7 from deep. Ball also picked up eight rebounds, six assists and a pair of steals with three turnovers. Lonzo has had a tough time shooting the ball, but he's filled up the stat sheet nicely in recent games and even has five consecutive outings with multiple steals. He needs to be great defensively again on Thursday when the Lakers visit OKC. Ball will likely struggle to score himself, as Russell Westbrook has greatly improved defensively this season. He limited Ball to just three points in 35 minutes in the first meeting of the season on Jan. 2.
