Lonzo Ball Posts Double-Double Tuesday Night
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball struggled with his shot Tuesday, finishing with five points on two of 10 shooting. The prized rookie did however add 11 rebounds and 11 assists, joining Warriors forward Draymond Green and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic as the third player this season to post a rebound-assist double-double. Ball would match a season-high five steals and also added a block, as it demonstrates his upside coming from a point guard position. Ball has quietly gone under the radar and shown great progress as we head towards the second half of the season. He's a dynamic guard whose minutes are safe, and he will have the opportunity to excel in an up-tempo system. Despite his struggles with his shooting, Ball is ranked No. 36 over the past month with averages of 13.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 2.8 triples per game. He's also active on defense, picking up 1.8 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. There is still a gap in the doorway to buy low on the Big Baller star, so act fast.
