Lonnie Walker IV Leads Spurs In Scoring Sunday Night
4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard Lonnie Walker IV was the team's leading scorer with 23 points in Sunday's overtime loss to Philly, shooting 9-for-19 from the field and 3-for-6 from downtown in 31 minutes off the bench. San Antonio's bench played a big part here with Dejounte Murray, DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl all getting rested for the contest. Walker also posted two assists and one block with two turnovers. The Spurs will get their main men back for Monday's meeting with Utah, but Walker could have another big game later in the week when the team starts a back-to-back set against Sacramento on Friday.
