Lonnie Walker IV Enjoys Another Fine Outing
4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV led the team in scoring for the second consecutive time, finishing Tuesday's 112-102 win over OKC with 24 points. He shot 7-for-15 from the field and 7-for-7 at the line, adding three rebounds, two assists, and one block. Walker IV, who went 3-for-7 from deep, has produced two nice outings since DeMar DeRozan (personal) left the team. The veteran scorer is with his ill father in L.A. and it's unclear when he will return. The Spurs start a back-to-back set on Thursday against the Rockets, who were just slaughtered by the Lakers in consecutive games. It's a good spot for Walker IV to keep performing, but the return of DeRozan will change everything.
