Logan Webb Tagged With His Third Loss On Saturday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb took the loss in Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox, dropping his record to 7-3 on the year. He pitched six innings and allowed six hits, one walk and five runs (three earned) while striking out five. The 25-year-old owns a 3.13 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP on the year. His strikeout rate is down from 26.5% last year to 21.7% this year, but he's continued to do a good job of limiting hard contact this season as batters have an 88 mph average exit velocity and a 5.6% barrel rate against him. He'll be making his next start on the road against the San Diego Padres next Thursday.
