Logan Webb Shuts Out Rockies
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb threw a gem on Sunday, shutting down the Colorado Rockies for his first career complete game shutout. It was actually the first complete game of any sort for Webb, who dominated a hapless Rockies lineup to secure a 1-0 win. He allowed seven hits and had a stellar 10 strikeouts without allowing a walk. It's been a bit of an up-and-down season for Webb, but he has been solid for the most part, pitching to a 3.14 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and striking out 127 in 126 IP. He is firmly in the SP2 range and should continue to provide quality numbers across the board.
