Logan Webb's Losing Streak Continues Monday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb fell to 0-4 in Monday's 4-3 game against the Marlins. Webb pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits (including a two-run home run) and no walks with six strikeouts. He also hit a batter. It has not been the start fantasy managers had hoped for, as the 26-year-old has a 4.94 ERA to start the season. The good news is that his strikeouts have jumped up to the tune of a 10.65 K/9 rate. Things will not get easier for Webb in his next start against the Mets. While he has likely frustrated fantasy managers to this point, Webb's ability to pitch deep into games and his strikeout potential makes him worth starting, particularly in points leagues.
