Logan Webb Bounces Back And Gets His First Win
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starter Logan Webb had his best game of the early season on Sunday. Webb pitched seven full innings, threw a season-high 107 pitches while facing 26 different batters, and finished with no runs allowed--the first time he's done so this year in games he has started. While Webb allowed three hits and walked three batters, he was able to limit the production of Miami giving the Marlins no chance at scoring even a single run. Webb struck out eight batters and putting together his lone quality start of the year through 22 1/3 innings pitched as a starter through Sunday. Logan Webb will need to keep working to improve his current 4.03 ERA as he had allowed 10 combined runs in his other three starts, but signs are pointing in the right direction after this last outing.
