Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley will miss Sunday's matchup against the Coyotes with an undisclosed injury. Head coach Dave Lowry has simply said that Winnipeg's hit machine is "a bit banged up". Ville Heinola will take Stanley's spot in the lineup. Stanley has produced 113 hits in 51 appearances this season, adding 82 blocked shots on the defensive end. Offensively, the 23-year-old has contributed with one goal and 12 assists. The Jets start next week's action on Wednesday against Buffalo, which gives Stanley plenty of time to heal and it's possible that he'll be back for that one.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley is scheduled for knee surgery, taking him out of the lineup for at least four weeks. The towering rearguard got hurt during the warm-up ahead of Wednesday's preseason game against Edmonton. Stanley featured only 25 times for the team in 2023-24, but Jets head coach Scott Arniel had a significant role planned for him this season. "He was going to be one of the fixtures in our group. He also has that size and physicality that we need, so it's a big hit for us and I just hope he gets recovered and gets himself back as soon as possible," Arniel said. The Jets backline has also lost Ville Heinola (ankle) for a minimum of four weeks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

In Game 5 against the Golden Knights, defenseman Logan Stanley of the Winnipeg Jets will be a healthy scratch, having only played for a total of 8:58 minutes while ending up a minus-one in Game 4. Instead, Kyle Capobianco will make his playoff debut, replacing the tall defenseman in the Jets lineup. Stanley registered one goal and two assists in 19 regular season contests. He's played in a total of nine playoff games in two years.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Logan Stanley will sit out Monday's game against the Blues as a healthy scratch. He will be giving up his spot to Kyle Capobianco. Stanley has only just returned from a lower-body injury and various issues have limited him to only 10 appearances this campaign. The towering rearguard boasts only one point via an assist but has been averaging 2.6 hits per game with 1.2 blocks. He will hope to return to the lineup for the next game on Feb. 11 versus Chicago.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
