The New York Giants activated safety Logan Ryan from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday and placed cornerback Darnay Holmes (rib) on Injured Reserve in a corresponding move. Ryan missed the last two games while on the COVID-19 list, but he'll return and give the Giants secondary a boost for their Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins. The 30-year-old veteran has 72 tackles, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over nine games in 2021 and will once again be in play in lineups in deeper IDP leagues this weekend. New York's defense/special teams surprised in a win over the Philadelphia Eagles last week, and they could be valuable as a streaming defensive unit against Miami this Sunday.--Keith Hernandez
