Logan O'Hoppe Dealing With A Shoulder Issue
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe left Thursday's contest against the New York Yankees early after experiencing pain in his shoulder from swinging the bat. The rookie stated that the same thing happened earlier in the club's last series with the Boston Red Sox, but he didn't miss any time. According to Sam Blum of The Athletic, O'Hoppe isn't sure if he'll have to go on the shelf. The backstop has been impressive through 15 games this season, slashing .283/.339/.547 with four home runs, five runs, and 13 RBI. If O'Hoppe does miss some action, fantasy managers can expect Matt Thaiss to be the everyday catcher, though, considering his career .651 OPS, he doesn't offer much value.
