Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor tied himself long-term with the franchise on Monday, agreeing to a six-year extension. He's now under contract with the team through the 2030-31 season and will be paid $15 million for his services. The contract will count $2.5 million against the cap. O'Connor, who turned 28 six weeks ago, has spent his entire NHL career with the Avalanche after going undrafted out of the University of Denver. Ha has notched 35 goals and 82 points in 263 regular-season games. The American winger avered a career-high 0.44 points per game last season but was limited to only 57 games and 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) due to a hip injury. O'Connor is among Colorado's top penalty-killers and will skate in a middle-six role this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
