Logan Gilbert Pushed Back To Wednesday
2 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are switching up their starting rotation order this week. Left-hander Marco Gonzales will now start on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies, with right-hander Logan Gilbert being pushed back to Wednesday. Gilbert last pitched against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 18, when he allowed four runs on five hits while walking none and striking out eight in a six-inning no-decision. The 25-year-old right-hander has been decent so far this year in his four starts for the M's, going 1-1 with a 3.57 ERA (3.10 FIP), 1.01 WHIP, only four strikeouts and 28 strikeouts in 22 2/3 innings. After more than a week of rest, Gilbert will face a tough test in a Phillies team that ranks second in the National League with a .276 team batting average.
