1 year agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Logan Allen took the loss in Monday's 5-3 game against the Royals. The 24-year-old rookie pitched seven innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits (including two home runs) and no walks with five strikeouts. He has pitched well overall in his first 14 big-league starts, going 4-3 with a 3.39 ERA, 9.20 K/9 rate, and 3.03 BB/9 rate. His next start should be a favorable one at the White Sox.
