Reports early Saturday that Detroit Lions linebacker Steve Longa (knee) is believed to have suffered a torn ACL have confirmed what most believed they saw Friday night when the third-year Rutgers product went down with a non-contact injury. Longa was slated for primary backup duties in the middle behind Jarrad Davis and was a core special teams player on several units. This isn't an earth-shattering blow, but head coach Matt Patricia already has his hands full trying to turn water into wine with a defense that has question marks at all levels, in addition to quality depth issues. The Lions defense remains nothing more than a bye week/streaming option in any fantasy format.--BobbyJARead More News
