Lions Defense Struggles To Contain The Cowboys
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense allowed 414 yards of offense in the last-second loss to the Cowboys on Sunday. Ezekiel Elliott had his way with the Lions defense that was missing Ziggy Ansah and Kerry Hyder Jr., as he rushed for 152 yards. However, the Lions pass rush was effective, forcing three sacks. Detroit regained the lead with just over two minutes remaining in the game, but the Cowboys went the length of the field before kicking the game-winning field goal as time expired. Things don't get any easier next week as the Lions host the banged up Packers.
