Lil'Jordan Humphrey Will Play On Sunday Night
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey (hamstring) is good to go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 23-year-old practiced in a limited fashion and had been riding a questionable tag throughout the week. Nonetheless, his presence likely won't mean much for anyone, especially since Taysom Hill has made most of his fantasy noise this season using his legs. Kenny Stills is a healthy scratch to make room for Humphrey, although his absence won't mean much either.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey Looking For Another Strong Game Against Raiders
4 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey had his best game of 2024 in the Week 11 blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons, catching all four of his targets for a season-high 52 yards and his first touchdown of the year. Humphrey will be looking for a second straight strong game this Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders and their beat-up secondary. The 26-year-old played only 44% of the offensive snaps last week, though, and faces plenty of competition for targets alongside Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr. and rookies Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin. Rookie QB Bo Nix has been spreading the ball around all year to wideouts not named Sutton, too, making it mostly a crapshoot for which receiver might have the best game behind Sutton. Fantasy managers playing him as a WR5/flex in deep leagues are merely hoping for a couple big plays and potentially another TD.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey Finds End Zone For First Time In 2024
4 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey joined the party in the Week 11 win over the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, catching all four of his targets on the day for a season-high 52 receiving yards and his first touchdown of the year in the 38-6 laugher. It was a nice bounce-back performance after Humphrey had only two catches for 23 yards in the Week 10 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. Humphrey brings impressive after-the-catch abilities, so it was no surprise his touchdown catch came on a 41-yard reception to put the Falcons away late. He has seen additional opportunities in an improving Broncos passing attack since Josh Reynolds (finger) went on Injured Reserve, but Reynolds could be returning soon. At best, Humphrey will be a dart-throw WR5/flex in Week 12 when the team travels to take on the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.

Continue To Ignore Lil'Jordan Humphrey
4 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey is 0% rostered in Yahoo fantasy football leagues and is not a recommended play for the Week 11 tilt in Denver against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Humphrey does have some impressive after-the-catch abilities, but Denver's offense just hasn't had enough firepower this year to really support another fantasy-relevant pass-catcher behind Courtland Sutton. The 26-year-old Humphrey only had two receptions (three targets) for 23 yards in last week's loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, and he's currently fourth on the team in receiving yards (211) on the year. Humphrey also has yet to find the end zone in 2024. He hasn't eclipsed 50 receiving yards in a single game despite seeing a bigger role on offense ever since the injury to Josh Reynolds (finger).

Lil'Jordan Humphrey Can't Be Trusted In Fantasy
4 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey simply cannot be trusted in fantasy for a Week 10 divisional matchup this Sunday on the road against the 9-0 Kansas City Chiefs. Humphrey ranks third on the Broncos in targets (32), receptions (21) and receiving yards (188), but the lack of production speaks for itself, and he has yet to get into the end zone in nine games played. The 26-year-old does have some impressive yards-after-the-catch skills, but he's only gone over four catches in a game once this year and still has yet to eclipse 50 yards in a game. Denver's offense could struggle to move the ball for the second straight week against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the eighth-fewest half-PPR points to opposing pass-catchers this season. There's no reason for Humphrey to be rostered in 12-team fantasy leagues.
