2 years agoChicago White Sox right-hander Liam Hendriks (cancer) is back with the club after he was declared cancer free about a week ago. The native of Australia will be completing a "pre-rehab assignment," with the rehab assignment possibly coming after the weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. That's positive news for fantasy managers who stashed Hendriks on their injured list, and hopefully, he can return by mid-May. The 34-year-old pitched to a 2.81 ERA with 85 punchouts, a 1.04 WHIP, and 37 saves in 2022 and will once again be Chicago's closer once he's back on the field.--Spencer Seguin
