1 year agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Liam Hendriks was officially activated from the 15-day injured list on Monday and reliever Jimmy Lambert (ankle) was placed on the injured list with right-ankle inflammation in a corresponding move, according to general manager Rick Hahn. Hendriks will be making his 2023 debut when he gets into a game after missing all of the season to this point while recovering from non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The 34-year-old veteran reliever will probably be eased back into high-leverage situations at the back end of Chicago's bullpen, but he's completely cancer-free and is fully expected to return to primary closing duties for the Pale Hose sooner than later.
