2 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Liam Hendriks posted on his official Instagram account that he is in remission and is cancer-free. Hendriks started his final round of chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in early April and is now cancer-free, although the White Sox haven't given any sort of timetable for when he might rejoin the team to make his 2023 season debut. As long as he continues to feel better, the 34-year-old right-handed reliever should start ramping up baseball activities and could be back with the White Sox as their preferred closer sometime in May. With Hendriks sidelined early this year, Reynaldo Lopez has been their go-to guy in save situations, and he's closed out three games so far.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
