Liam Hendriks' Initial Timeline Set At Three Weeks
2 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed closer Liam Hendriks (forearm) on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday. Shortly after the move, White Sox General Manager Rick Hahn provided some updates on Hendriks' status. Hahn explained that Hendriks has a flexor strain. His timeline will be dependent on how he handles treatment over the next few days. Hahn stated, "the preliminary estimate is three weeks." Kendall Graveman should be added by all fantasy managers who are looking for short-term help in saves. He is the clear favorite to hold down the ninth inning role with Hendriks out. Jose Ruiz and Kyle Crick could also see some save chances if Graveman struggles. Graveman has converted just two of his six save opportunities so far this year.
