2 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Liam Hendriks continues to work through his rehab assignment. He has been sidelined all season while he battled non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, but he's now cancer free. The team wants Hendriks to get through a handful of minor league relief appearances before rejoining the big league roster. White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said on Tuesday that Hendriks could return at some point this week. The 34-year-old is expected to slide right into the closer role once he's back on the roster.
