Liam Hendriks Blows Second Save
4 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks blew his second save of the season on Saturday versus the Texas Rangers. Hendriks served up a solo home run to designated Willie Calhoun with one out and that would tie the game at 1-1. Despite the blown save, Hendriks was able to pick up the win when second baseman Nick Madrigal sent the crowd home with a walk off single in the bottom of the ninth inning. Despite the blown save, Hendriks remains one of the top closers in the game and managers have no reason to worry about tonight's performance.
