4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson (undisclosed) was able to work out with the team at their spring training home in Jupiter, Florida, on Saturday. Brinson is still officially on the 10-day injured list, but it's of course a good sign that he was cleared to join his teammates. Brinson has been a massive bust since coming to the Marlins as the centerpiece of the Christian Yelich trade, but he was showing some very positive signs in Grapefruit League play before everything got shut down. He still has an option year left, but with no minor league season taking place this year, the best thing for his development is likely to have him play.
