Lewis Brinson Plates Two Runs In Thursday's Win
3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson drove in two runs with an RBI double in Thursday's win over the New York Mets. It was Brinson's only hit of the game, but it was a huge one, leaving him 1-for-4 with two RBI. Brinson has looked much more like a major league hitter this time around, although he's still nowhere close to the upside that was expected of him as the centerpiece of the Christian Yelich trade with the Brewers several years ago. Brinson should get plenty of playing time in another lost season for the Marlins, and this could be his last chance to show he belongs.
