Lewis Brinson Continues Struggles on Monday
6 years agoMiami Marlins center fielder Lewis Brinson went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts on Monday, continuing his rough offensive start to the 2018 season. The 24-year-old left four runners on base during the game as the Marlins were blanked by the Mets 2-0. Brinson has an anemic .164/.208/.289 slash line so far this year and has amassed 55 strikeouts to only seven walks. To this point, the Marlins seem content in letting him work out his growing pains in his first full year in the majors. However, you have to wonder how much longer they can let the former top prospect struggle before being demoted. Brinson's stock is sliding quickly in dynasty leagues right now.
