4 years agoThe Miami Marlins promoted rookie prospect Lewin Diaz from their alternate training site. Diaz is up to take the roster spot of Corey Dickerson, who was placed on the bereavement list. Diaz hit .270/.321/.530 with 27 homers in 121 minor league games last season, and came over to the Marlins as part of the Sergio Romo trade with the Twins. It's unclear how much playing time he will get right now, but he's certainly worth owning in most formats if he works his way into a starting role.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
