3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie first baseman Lewin Diaz was called up to join the Marlins before Tuesday's game. With the Marlins taking on the Orioles in Baltimore, Diaz will get a chance to play first base while usual Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar serves as the DH. Diaz has a bright future that has shown in flashes this season at the big league level, but he seems like he may still need a little more time to develop. If he hits well though, he could stick with the team for the rest of the season, especially after the Marlins trade away some of their starting lineup before the trade deadline.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
