Le'Veon Bell Won't Make Jets Debut On Thursday
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell will not play in the team's preseason debut against the New York Giants on Thursday, according to a source. He will be suited up while going through pregame warmups with his new teammates, per his own request. Head coach Adam Gase said the team will be cautious with Bell's workload during the preseason after a lengthy layoff from game action, in order to preserve the star running back for the regular season. The rest of the team's starters are only likely to play a series or two anyway. Bell remains a solid RB1 in all fantasy formats despite the fact he hasn't played a meaningful NFL game since Jan. 14, 2018 in Pittsburgh.
