5 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy (ankle) suffered an ankle injury late in the Week 2 win over the Raiders and is undergoing an MRI exam on Monday, according to a source. The injury doesn't appear to be serious, but we'll know more after the tests. It's especially significant for the Chiefs backfield after Damien Williams left earlier in the game with a knee contusion. If one of Williams or McCoy are unable to play in Week 3 against the Ravens, undrafted rookie Darwin Thompson would be in line for a bigger role and could have some flex appeal in deeper leagues.
