LeSean McCoy Not A Factor On Sunday
6 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy wasn’t much of a factor in the team’s loss against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The veteran only carried the ball 10 times for 10 yards, and also caught all four targets out of the backfield for 19 yards. This performance really contradicts the statement the Bills were making by not trading McCoy. Instead of allowing him to try and get a run game established, they relied heavily on quarterback Nathan Peterman, allowing him to throw almost 50 times in the game. Shady also had his carries cut into by fellow back Chris Ivory, who rushed for 36 yards on seven attempts before getting injured. McCoy’s lack of production can’t be unnoticed this season. It’s not clear if the majority of blame should be put on him or the Bills weak offensive front. Moving forward it’ll be very hard to roster McCoy, and he may only be in play in DFS as a salary saver given a favorable matchup.
