LeSean McCoy Has Solid Showing Against Lions
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy had a strong game in the team's third preseason game on Friday, rushing the ball six times for 37 yards, good for 6.2 yards per carry. McCoy sat out the Bills' first preseason game and only rushed for six yards in the team's second preseason game, so it was nice to see an effective outing from him this week. However, he was somewhat upstaged by fellow veteran Frank Gore, who rushed eight times for 57 yards in the game. McCoy is a fine running back to target after the first twenty-or-so running backs are off the board, but he's in a crowded backfield with Gore and promising rookie Devin Singletary and of course father time is working against the 31-year-old as well.
