Leonardo Santos Drops Second Straight Bout
3 years agoWith back-to-back losses after not being defeated in the previous eight Octagon appearances, Leonardo Santos suffered a second-round submission at the hands of the very seasoned UFC veteran Clay Guida on Saturday. In 6:21 of action, Santos actually out-struck Guida by landing 41 significant strikes compared to Guida's 15. The issue was on the mat, where Guida was able to lock in the rear-naked choke. 2015 was the last time we have seen Santos victorious with a finish. Keep that in mind the next time you think about rostering the aging Brazilian.
