Leon Edwards Defends Crown At UFC 286
2 years agoThe kingdom remains intact for Leon Edwards, who defeated former champion Kamaru Usman via majority decision in their five-round main event at UFC 286 on Saturday. In 25 minutes of action, Edwards tallied 120 significant strikes compared to that of Usman's 87. Though he was taken down four times, he stuffed an additional 11 of Usman's takedown tries. It looks like Colby Covington will be up next for Edwards. If this comes to pass, look for Edwards to continue his reign on the welterweight division.
