Leon Draisaitl Has A Five-Point Night Versus Nashville
2 years agoEdmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl crushed the Predators with a five-point performance Tuesday night. He helped his crew get a 7-4 win with a goal and four assists. The German registered his fifth career five-point game. Three of his assists went to Evander Kane, who bagged his fifth regular-season hat trick. Connor McDavid also had fun against Nashville, notching two goals and two assists. Draisaitl and McDavid became the first players to reach 20 points in 10 or fewer games in consecutive seasons since Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux in 1987-88–1988-89. McDavid now leads the league in both goals (11) and points (22), while Draisaitl is right behind him in the scoring charts with 21 points.
