6 years agoEdmonton Oilers center Leon Draisaitl scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 5-2 road loss against the New York Islanders. He was able to light the lamp for the third consecutive game giving him 35 goals. The German pivot is on pace for 49 goals and 97 points, both of which would easily be career bests. He needs just eight points to match the 77-point total he posted his 2016-17 across 82 games. Unfortunately for the Oilers, he and Connor McDavid are the only players to show up on a nightly basis.--Daniel Dobish
