6 years agoDetroit Lions running back LeGarrette Blount rushed for just 48 yards on 16 carries and caught two passes for 17 yards in the Lions 26-10 win over the Patriots. Blount split carries evenly with Kerryon Johnson; however, Johnson finished with 101 yards. It's quite clear now that Johnson is the Lions best back, but the Detroit coaching staff still sees value in Blount's bruiser style of play. He will continue to be a touchdown-dependent option into the Lions' Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
