Lee Hodges Looks To Build On Strong Start At WM Phoenix Open
17 mins agoLee Hodges has had a strong start to the season, recording finishes of T33, T9, T34, and T10 while ranking 13th in total strokes gained. He now shifts his focus to the WM Phoenix Open, an event he has played twice, missing the cut both times. This course rewards strong drivers, and Hodges excels in that area, ranking 19th in total driving with above-average numbers in both driving distance (305.3 yards) and accuracy (64.73%). His approach game is solid as well, ranking 70th in strokes gained on approach, but most of his success comes from inside 150 yards. 64.2% of approach shots at TPC Scottsdale are from 150-plus yards out, and this is where Hodges tends to struggle, ranking in the 48th percentile for proximity from that distance over the last two years. With a price tag of $7,100 on DraftKings and his recent form, Hodges is certainly worth consideration for fantasy lineups.
