LeBron James Starts 18th Season With 22-Point Performance
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James led the team with 22 points in Tuesday's 116-109 loss to the Clippers, shooting 7-for-17 from the field and 3-for-8 from downtown. He also had five rebounds and five assists while ending up as the team's only starter with a positive plus/minus. LeBron hurt his ankle in the second half and Lakers coach Frank Vogel has said that he wants to limit his minutes during a congested season, so the 35-year-old veteran ended up logging only 28 minutes. Anthony Davis, who finished with 18 points, also had his load managed as he played 31 minutes. James said that he'll be fine for the next matchup against Dallas, so he should be your DFS pivot on Christmas Day. The King was close to a triple-double 12 months ago, and he has averaged 26-8-7 in Christmas games during his career.
