LeBron James Produces Second Straight Triple-Double
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James posted his second straight triple-double and the 99th of his career in Tuesday's win over Minnesota. James dropped 25 points with 12 rebounds, 12 assists, four triples and a block in 31 minutes. The 36-year-old became the oldest player in NBA history to compile back-to-back triple-doubles, and he impressively accomplished the feat in just a combined 61 minutes between the two contests. Losers of five of their last seven heading into the All-Star break, the Lakers have now won each of their first three games to start the second half, with James leading the way. He'll get a day off before Thursday's game with the Hornets, who have been a favorable matchup for small forwards.
