LeBron James Out Indefinitely With High-Ankle Sprain
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is out indefinitely with a high-ankle sprain. James injured his ankle during the Lakers' afternoon game against the Hawks and was unable to return. While his X-rays came back negative, Los Angeles will still be without their best player, in addition to Anthony Davis (calf), for at least the next couple of weeks. High-ankle sprains have a funny way of sticking around, so it wouldn't be surprising to see James on the sidelines for a bit longer than that. Dennis Schroder, Kyle Kuzma, and Montrezl Harrell will pick up the scoring slack for Los Angeles, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Talen Horton-Tucker also factoring in. The Lakers may also be buyers at the deadline.
