The Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers are two teams that have reached out to the Philadelphia Flyers in regards to defenseman Sean Walker. The Tampa Bay Lightning and at least one other Eastern Conference team have reportedly shown interest in the right-shot blueliner, as well. The Flyers are holding firm on a tall asking price for Walker who has impressed in his first season with the Flyers following a five-year run with the Los Angeles Kings. The 29-year-old has registered five goals and 17 points while skating in all 50 Flyers contests this season but has also added 53 hits and 69 blocked shots to his ledger. The Flyers have surprised to a 25-19-6 record on the season, good for third in the Metropolitan Division, but dropped their final five games before the All-Star break and are still operating with the future in mind.--Brenton Kemp
