3 months agoSeattle Mariners outfield prospect Lazaro Montes is swinging a hot bat in August for High-A Everett and was just named Northwest League Hitter of the Week after hitting .526 with a 1.562 OPS last week with seven RBI. In 15 games in August, Montes is hitting .400/.493/.618 with three homers and 11 RBI. The Mariners' No. 3 prospect is dialing up his game this month as he continues to adjust to High-A as a 19-year-old. The ceiling seems to be very high for Montes as he continues his professional career. In a few years, he could be a mainstay in the Mariners' outfield and a big-time addition to fantasy rosters.
