Chicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen registered 30 points with nine rebounds and an assist over 33 minutes in Saturday's 125-118 road loss against the Charlotte Hornets. He hit 8-for-13 from the floor and 1-for-5 from behind the arc, but his real damage was at the free-throw line where he was a perfect 13-for-13. While his double-digit rebound streak came to an end at three games, he stepped up his scoring to replace the boards. There aren't a ton of bright spots in Chitown, but Markkanen is certainly one of them. He is averaging 20.8 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers across the past four outings.--Daniel Dobish

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) will not be available on Thursday against the Houston Rockets. He has recently missed time due to an illness and is now working on his conditioning to return to game shape. Markkanen will be out for a fifth consecutive game. Kyle Filipowski, Cody Williams, and Brice Sensabaugh will continue to have extra fantasy value on Thursday night. The former two have recently been part of the starting unit, although Williams has struggled to make a positive impact, shooting 34.1 percent from the field this month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (illness) will miss additional time and has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 2023 All-Star will sit out a fourth consecutive game. It's the second straight game he will miss due to an illness. Utah has no interest in winning and will continue to give opportunities to younger players for the remainder of the season. Markkanen's absence opens the door for Kyle Filipowski, Brice Sensabaugh, and Kenyon Martin Jr. to take on larger roles in the rotation. Filipowski stands out as the best fantasy option, as he has joined the starting unit, where he averages 13.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
