Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Retires From The NFL
1 year agoFree-agent offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif has announced his retirement from the NFL. The former Chiefs guard is best known for stepping away from football in 2020 to serve on the frontlines during the COVID pandemic. The 32-year-old attended medical school while playing offensive line for the Chiefs. He was a member of their Super Bowl team in 2019. Duvernay-Tardif returned to the league with the New York Jets, where he played for two more seasons.
