Laurent Brossoit Takes First Loss of the Season
6 years agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit turned aside 31 of 32 shots as he turned in another strong outing, but took the loss on Friday. Brossoit has a .959 save percentage in four starts this season and has done an outstanding job spelling starter Connor Hellebuyck when called upon. Despite facing an average of 37 shots per start, Brossoit has allowed more than one goal only once this season, further highlighting his excellent play. This level of play is something we have seen regularly from Brossoit, who has a .908 career save percentage, but it seems he has finally found a home in Winnipeg and is a priority streaming option when he is between the pipes.
