In his first race back from a Covid-19 related absence, Hendrick Motorsports' Jimmie Johnson finished a disappointing 18th at Kentucky Speedway, due largely to a late race spin. With 19 laps to go, the field was set to restart with Johnson in third-place, but a move to block Brad Keselowski ended with Johnson sliding through the infield. The slide would effectively end the No. 48 teams chances of winning, extending his draught to 111 races without a win. Following the race, Johnson Tweeted that he looked forward to the next time he would be able to restart behind Keselowski. Johnson will have his opportunity Wednesday night when the Cup Series returns to Bristol for the All-Star Race.--Ryan Devine
